Panorama
Generating a Panorama involves stitching images together based on correspondence between image pairs.
Inputs to the algorithm were three images taken from a hill-top of the surrounding regions stitched together using salient feature points in each image.
The features in the images are of water bodies, trees and buildings and streets in the distance below as seen from Mission Peak, Fremont, CA.
The process of generating the panorama involves computing the Homography matrix for the detected salient features to find corresponding point on image pairs that have those salient features. A mild seam is visible between the images.
